Accordingly, in the context of environmental impact studies and within technical reports for planning permission the effects of light pollution need to be considered.

- Measurement of light technical parameters and assessment of existing lighting situation
- Determine the spatial lighting of living and sleeping areas from luminaires in the neighborhood
- Determination of glare from strong or elevated light sources
